2nd Sunday has gone by...

Well... As mentioned in the title, it's already my second Tuesday since I arrived. We kinda spent the entire weekend doing up our dissertation proposal. It was giving us such a headache. It snowed over the weekend BUT we couldn't go out to play. The snow's melting now and it doesn't seem like it will snow (according to my weather widget) despite the cloudy weather. Well... It says that it'll rain tmr... oh dear... Will it still snow?? I hope it will! *prays hard*

Haven't attended many classes yet so it feels quite alright now. But I know that workload will just start piling up. Yesterday was our first Marketing class. Hmm... We had our first random grouping and till now, I have yet to meet them. >_<>_<

Well, this Fri, we have no class so we're planning to go out after lunch... It'll be 7 in S'pore... SO! I don't think I can Skype with the gorgeouses who are going to Amanda's to have a sleeplover. >_<>

Well, nothing much has happened in my life... Well... mabbe just today, my tummy doesn't seem to feel too well, having a little of headache? N a bad hair day... :P No worries, I'll get through... They are all not very serious. Hmm... I'm so bored... I'm actually waiting for lunch to come but it's only 1041h right now... :s hould I start waching IRIS? Hmm... *ponders*

First Sunday & Orientation 1...

On our first Sunday in Luzern... The class went to the city to get our necessities. Val & I too had a shopping list but it ended up being quite useless because we just didn't have he heart to spend it on them. Things like tissue box, hand soap, etc. They were necessities but not exactly a necessity. Oh well... We'll live without it. In the end we spent about 5 CHF for our bus trip & bought a 0.3 CHF bottle of weird tasting water. Sigh... Since we didn't want to waste the expensive bus fare... We continued walking round the city till we were just in time to catch the 5pm bus. By about 4pm... the sun was setting and the weather really started to get really really cold. Brrr... Everyone was freezing & we could hardly take it. We took quite a number of photos!~

At about 9pm, I got news from Steph & John that several classmates got really sick... running a fever, diarrhea & vomiting. It sounded realy bad. Michelle even got sent to the hospital! Till today, although they all turned up for orientation, I could tell that they are definitely still not well... I really hope that everyone will get well soon. God bless!~

For the first orientation... There were quite a number of talks and stuff... I guess I have been sleeping for too long... I got really tired at some point n my eyelids just felt so heavy... Oh dear... I better work something out before class officially starts. During the intro session for the first half of our cohort ('cos we got split into 2 grps), there were people from Singapore (of course), South Korea (Kyaah... Big Bang!), Macau, Hong Kong, Russia, US & Malaysia. Haha... Come to think about it... where are the Japs?? :P After the session, it started snowing so we decided to go n play with the snow after school. After much delay, we finally went out at about 5pm... It was kinda dark already but as it was still snowing, it wasn't as cold as yesterday night. The sun was setting so there were still streaks of reddish orange, which I was unable to really capture... Oh well... But we (Yingying, Val, Pam, Chris, Emma, Steph, Emma, Hany & me) had a snow fight... Hany even made snow angel! I wanna make one too but I was not wearing something waterproof. DAMN! It was really cute! :)

Then... I finally managed to skype with my cousin, uncle & aunt!~ :) Haha... it was 1am for them... So my cousin had to wake my aunt up... :p Really nice to see them... ;P Alrighty!~ I should get going... Tired... Going to bed... Omg... I've been so guai over the past few days... sleeping before 11pm, waking up at 7am, not watching korean variety show... sigh... I wanna watch FO & BB's performances! >_< Byeeeeeee........~ <3

Welcome to Luzern, Switzerland!~

It's my first Sunday in Luzern. Woke up at about 7am from my bro's sweet sms. Well... and i woke with quite puffy eyes & lips... throat hurts a lil' too. Val's still asleep. Really hope that my snoring didn't keep her awake last night 'cos i went to bed first and fell asleep within seconds.

Ok, Luzern!~ We got welcomed by snow on our way from the airport to the school... Had a welcome drink and yummy croissant, a mini snow fight, got allocated to our rooms, unpacked for a lil', changed and went off for brunch. Lunch was not bad. Had spaghetti, their so called rosti which appeared to be hashbrown & sausages. After which, we were off on a campus & city tour. Other than the campus' magnificent view... it's not fantastic school but at least it's small & cosy :)

Ok something more exciting now... The city tour!~ On our bus trip there... (Bus No. 21) I saw so many buildings... all so nice and well built!~ Kinda reminds me of the German houses in Qingdao & the houses on logcakes... :) The city's really cold... the wind's stronger there but really pretty!~ It looks like a lil' city to me... but at least the city's wireless! Haha... So cool ya?

There's a church in the city... (I'll visit it someday), Mac's, BK, Starbucks (I'm gonna miss pure choc) Body Shop... & H&M!~ Hoorah!~ They were having a sale when we were walking pass it. It's said that 60% of the visitors to Luzern are Asians... O_O (Don! Come here quick... be part of the 60%)

Eh... What else do I wanna talk about? Yes, the cleaning of OUR rm... Haha... We cleaned our room... unpacked and all... Got me really sleepy tho... But we finally finished and it was almost past dinner time so we went for dinner in the canteen. Well... they had only chicken curry, rice & bee hoon left. At least they had rice... So i took rice with chicken curry... I must say... the cook's not anyone close to being an Asian. We went back to the room and washed up... ( the toilet light's retarded, mabbe i shld say the design of the toilet isn't gd? 'Cos the light has got motion sensor...) then off to see the stars at ard 8pm. It's so dark and clear here that... It's just so... Superb. The moon's even bigger here and oh so round and bright. The sky's so clear that you can see the gradient of the moon's "colour" (the uneven surface of the moon) PLUS it was hanging beside the mountain & above the lake. The moonlight shining upon the lake's surface, sigh... not smthg that my stupid camera can capture so... It's etched deep in my memory. :) It's really like scenes you'll only read of from descriptive novels. >_<

Yea... that's kinda about wraps it all... Finally, to Gwen Yip: I heard that Jaela likes my b'day pressie for her!~ Yay!~ So happy to hear that from mummy!~
